Maya Henry, daughter of famed injury attorney Thomas J. Henry (the "J" stands for justice), is adding a major accolade to her portfolio. For its March 2019 issue, the model will grace the cover of ELLE's Romanian edition.
The San Antonio native took to Instagram to tease the issue, which was shot on location in Malibu. In a behind-the-scenes interview with Cristiana Christmas, the magazine's festively named publisher discussed inspiration for the cover shoot, a celebration of summer complete with fresh athleisure lewks complemented by Teilor jewels, a Romanian jewelry company.
Also on the cover is the phrase "Forever Women Power," a statement that's simultaneously upsetting while literally meaning nothing. Let's just blame it on Google Translate. Moving on.
As mentioned, Maya is one of Los Henrys, the wealthy San Antonio family known for throwing lavish, over-the-top parties, paying celebrities to attend, and then promptly issuing press releases about them. (We can't really fault them for such grandiose performances since the Henry family has become this writer's favorite muse.)
This ain't model Maya's first rodeo, however. In January, the teen landed the cover of Serbian Harper's Bazaar, and in 2018, she sashayed her way onto the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Alta Sartoria catwalk in Mexico City.
As for the rest of the Henry clan, a quick perusal of son Thomas Jr.'s Insta reveals he's still posting photos of himself looking bored and flying on private jets and sometimes looking bored next to private jets. And Thomas J., aka the lawyer, has hired a new CEO for his law firm. (Also, did anyone else see he ran another commercial during the Super Bowl?!)
News of model Maya is fun and all, but personally we can't wait for another party. (Luckily, papa Thomas' April birthday is just around the corner.) And remember Hanging with Los Henrys, the YouTube series started by the Henrys and starring the Henrys? Well, we're still waiting for season two to hit the 'tube.
